Our solar powered attic fans have a manufacturer's warranty of five (5) years on the motor, ten (10) years on the solar panel and HeatBlockers will provide any warranty work at no charge to the customer. The SRS 1250 solar powered attic fan is capable of evacuating 1250 cubic feet of air per minute, in full sunlight, and will run from sun up to sun down without missing a beat or using any electricity. Its advanced solar technology enables it to capture the sun’s energy even on cloudy days. This is a must have for anyone interested in saving money on their electric bills. Not only will our solar powered attic fan pull out the heat in the summer time but it will also pull out any moisture in the attic in the winter time, and this is very important. The SRS 1250 solar powered attic fan is great for attic spaces up to 2000 square feet but, depending on the pitch of the roof, two may be required to do the job. If you have a lower pitched roof, then your attic will get much hotter much faster than someone with a very steep pitched roof because they have a lot more air volume. I know it seems kind of backwards to need more ventilation in a smaller area, but that’s exactly why it needs more. Going GREEN has never looked so good. HeatBlockers will install the SRS 1250 for $795 for the first one and $695 for each additional unit installed. We do have the smaller solar powered fan sizes available as well, but we typically only install those in areas with less than 700 square feet of attic space. There is a 30% tax credit available on the units right now, but we don’t know how long that’s going to be around. To qualify for the 20% or 30% savings guarantee HeatBlockers must install at least one solar powered fan or two turbines.
